Miles Leon - Saxophone - Pop, Funk, Soul

Miles is a proud native of Atlanta, Georgia, where he studied under iconic Atlanta jazz artists Joseph Jennings and Danny Harper. He went on to study jazz formally at Bard College in Upstate New York. It was there he blossomed as a player, composer, and educator. He found his composing voice while studying under the award-winning saxophonist and composer Erica Lindsay, leading him to compose numerous arrangements and conducting for Bard’s Contemporary Jazz Ensemble. Miles took an amazing opportunity to travel the world and became a saxophonist and woodwind doubler on the Celebrity Equinox cruise ship. This job has taken him to over 20 islands, with Martinique and Curacao being his favorites (so far)! He was also featured as a soloist for notable headliners such as Grammy-nominated saxophonist Tommy Proulx and Nashville country music star Ashlie-Amber Harris. Miles has crafted his own headlining show and currently travels the world on all major cruise lines as a headliner performing his two shows: Rock with You: A Tribute to the King of Pop and Funk Your Soul: A Tribute Celebrating Funk and Soul Artists.
